Acceptable
Use Policy.
What you may and may not run on Monolith hosting.
Last updated: 9 September 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all Monolith Corp hosting, panel and billing use. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Core rules
You must use the services lawfully, fairly, and without harming other customers, our infrastructure, or third parties. You are responsible for your players, plugins, mods and anyone you give access to.
2. Illegal content and activity
Do not host, distribute or facilitate:
- Illegal content under applicable law (including England & Wales and relevant local laws)
- Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors
- Fraud, phishing, credential theft, or identity misuse
- Infringing game assets, pirated software, or unlicensed server binaries where a licence is required
3. Malware, scanning and DDoS
Prohibited:
- Malware, botnets, remote access trojans, or intentionally vulnerable honeypots used to attack others
- Launching or amplifying DDoS / DoS attacks
- Port scanning, credential stuffing, or attacking systems you do not own or have permission to test
- Open proxies or anonymisation services used to abuse third parties
If your server is compromised, tell us via a billing ticket quickly; we may suspend to contain damage.
4. Game publisher terms
Follow each game’s EULA, multiplayer and server rules (Minecraft, Rust, Unturned, and others you run). Circumventing anti-cheat, running explicitly banned software, or violating publisher ToS using our hosting can lead to suspension.
5. Spam, unsolicited traffic and crypto mining
- No mass unsolicited email or messaging from hosting resources.
- Crypto mining and similar high-intensity non-game workloads are restricted unless we expressly allow them for your account. Game hosting plans are for game servers and related community use, not silent mining farms.
6. Enforcement
We may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate services for AUP breaches, with or without notice in urgent abuse cases. Serious abuse may be reported to relevant providers or authorities. Refunds after AUP termination are handled under Refunds & cancellation and may be refused where lawful.
Report abuse via https://billing.monolith-corp.org/.
Use a billing ticket.
Open a logged-in support ticket in the billing portal. Discord is a secondary channel for community chat, not a substitute for account or payment issues.
