1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. Some are needed for login and security; others are optional.
2. Essential cookies
These are generally required to operate the service, for example:
- Session / login state on the site, billing portal or panel
- Security and fraud prevention
- Load balancing or preference needed to deliver a page you requested
- Remembering cookie-consent choices themselves
Essential cookies do not require the same consent as optional cookies, but you can still block them in your browser—doing so may break login or checkout.
3. Optional cookies
Optional cookies (for example analytics or advertising) are only used if enabled and, where required, after you opt in. If a page or third-party embed sets optional cookies, you should see a choice control where we control that surface.
Third-party services you open separately—such as Discord or Stripe’s hosted checkout—have their own cookies under their policies.
