Create the token
Sign in to Steam's game server account management page with an eligible account. Create a token for Unturned using app ID 304930 and give it a label you can recognize.
Assign it
Stop the server. In current Unturned versions, set the login token in the server gameplay configuration. Older installations may still use Config.json; current servers use Config.txt or the generated difficulty-specific file.
Keep it secret
Treat the token like a password. Do not paste it into public support messages, screenshots, Git repositories or client-visible files. Replace it immediately if exposed.
Verify
Restart and read the authentication messages in the console. If registration fails, confirm the app ID, Steam account eligibility, token spelling and that another live server is not incorrectly sharing the token.
